Civil Marriage pricing options
The fee for a civil marriage ceremony is $260 including GST and payable by cheque or cash to be paid minimum two weeks prior to ceremony (some exceptions my apply). Additional costs will apply as follows:
- $75 if required to be at the wedding rehearsal;
- $75 $100 for travel outside of city limits;
- If there is a delay in the ceremony by more than 1/2 hour, an additional charge of $100 will be applied.
Ceremonies are available by appointment only. Although every effort is made to accommodate last-minute requests, there can be situations in which demand regrettably exceeds availability. To avoid disappointment, especially if you are arriving from out-of-town or prefer a special date and time, couples are encouraged to make an appointment. Payment is due at the time of booking an appointment along with a valid Province of Alberta marriage license.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
ANY booked civil marriage appointment can be cancelled, up to and including the day of the ceremony. All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable $50 fee. Marriage licence fees are non-refundable.
